i am trying to set up a network in my house using a wireless router and an aircard. my wireless router is a DI-514. My desktop, which connects to the internet, is running windows XP, and my laptop, which connects wirelessly to the router is running windows vista. I can get the two computers to see each other on the network, but i can't get the desktop to share its connection with the laptop. any help will be greatly appreciated.

go to start->Run->
then type 'cmd' (no quotes)
then check by typing 'ipconfig'
on each computer compare the IP addresses. They should all be pretty similar.
Also with routers, you have to make sure the port with the words 'Internet' or 'WAN' should be plugged into your Modem. The other ports, your desktop should be able to be plugged in anywhere.
So let me know if you can the IP (gateway too if you know how) and where your modem vs your desktop is plugged in at.
