Uniden Bearcat BC60XLT 10 Channel 10 Band Radio Scanner with L/O on every channel #
Every channel number has L/O beside every number even 0 and E except the weather channel, the only channel that can be heard or received. I don't have a manual to the scanner so i don't what or how to unlock the channels. I have tried all i know but no luck and don't even know how to enter manual mode. Id love if you could help me solve this problem and if you need any more info.

The ERROR message usually indicates that you've tried to program a frequency outside the scanner's tuning range. The BC60XLT top tuning range is the 512 MHz band, so you cannot tune any 800 MHz frequencies. For further information you can download and print the factory manual, at no cost, here:
You listed your question under the BC60XLT, which is a 10-channel scanner. With 30 channels, I'm guessing that yours is actually a BC60XLT-1. To program a known frequency into it:
- Power the scanner ON. - Press MANUAL. - Enter the channel number that you wish to program. - Press MANUAL again. (NOTE: Instead of entering the channel number, you can press MANUAL repeatedly to advance to the desired channel.) - Enter the frequency, including the decimal point. - Press E to store the information in memory. - Repeat the above for other channels.
More detailed information can be found in the scanner operating manual, which you can download/print here:
If your scanner is a different model, pleasd let me know.
