D-Link router switches off internet connection when tv/DVD remote is used

Hi, Your question is not so clear. For giving the proper solution I need to know something. As per my knowledge a fiber optic cable doesn't connect a router directly without a Media Converter. Secondly please tell me the model number and the brand name of your television. Third do you configure your internet connection on your television through IP address??

Have Linksys E2000, whenever i connect router, I loose all internet connections. I follow the disc, but the self diagnosis says I have no driver. I tried DriverWhiz, but it locks up computer. ...

Use the newer drivers http://homedownloads.cisco.com/downloads/utility/1224659225421/Downloadable.CiscoConnect.E2000.1.2.10260.0-ship-Stable.Hotspot.exe

If that doesn't work, then your ethernet drives may be corrupt. Go to: Start -> Right Click "My Computer" -> Properties -> Device manager. In Device Manager select: Network adapters -> Your ethernet chip name -> Right Click & select "Update Drivers". You need to select the drivers off of your cd if your computer doesn't have an internet connection.

I loose internet connection with HAMA Wireless LAN Router

Try changing the channel that the router uses. This will be a setting in the GUI. I have a Netgear wireless router and if I let the router choose the channel to use, it always chooses the same channel that my cordless phone uses so whenever I use the cordless phone, I get kicked off. You can also try updating the firmware on the router but I'd bet trying a different channel(s) will work.

I have a 2wire att router that loses internet connection

try this it worked for me. If you use Chrome go to tools, options, under the hood and un-check Predict network actions to improve page load performance, I have no idea why this worked I just know that I have not lost my service since I did this. I stumble around a lot and was always getting the message no broadband service or something of that nature. One time chrome suggested that I try this (no idea why chrome suggested this) so I unchecked the box and now I no longer have the problem of loosing my connection. I was loosing my connection a lot 10-20 times an hour.
Good Luck

Wireless Internet causes blue screen of death

-- "limited conn.."-- you should configure the internet connection in the router's software ie 192.168.2.1 or any other IP for the router, use ISP help desk for this (if it's free).

Blue screens have numbers and sometimes explanations, usually they pop up because of incompatible driver, chek router software(driver) compatibility.

explanation of blue screens are in the following link:

Wii connection issues.

You can check if the problem is with the internet connection going to the Wii or just the wireless connection.

When you loose connection, check the Wii's ip address. If it does not have an ip address(or ip is 169.xx.xx.xx) that means that the Wii is disconnecting from the wireless network. You can then try other wireless channels on your router.

If the Wii is still getting an ip of 192.168.x.x, that means that the problem is the internet from the router. You might need to forward ports on the router for your Wii.
