Hi, did you get any help on resolving your problem? I bought a similar pc on Sat 30 Aug and today, four days later, Tues 3 Sept 2008, it has done the same thing, and I am seeking some help. Any assistance is appreciated. email@example.com Thanks.

A quick amazon look up resulted in this : http://amzn.to/9cXLfe. Also you can use most of the universal chargers with them.
http://www.acerspareparts.co.uk/ look at this place as well they might have the item you wanted.
Hope this resolves your problem.
1. Go to: http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ 2. Click "Notebook" under "Select Product Family". 3. Click "Extensa" under "Select Product Line". 4. Scroll down & select "Extensa 5420" under "Select Product Model". 5. Click on the down arrow opposite to the component you want to download the drivers for.
you need to download an updated driver for your acer 5420 or go to the website for the pro stick manufacturer and update the latest driver for their stick. start with your drivers and make sure you get the correct one for your model. this should resolve future issues with driver conflicts on removable media. which is the problem you are having.
