The wifi connection on your htc phone can be accessed by going to the connection settings which is located under the phone settings on your S620.you will see the option which says turn on wifi in the sub menu under the wifi, simply click on turn on,and you are good to go.
The wifi connection will only work in a location where there is broadband internet connection network which is shared and can be accesed by wifi, which is irespective of the country.
When you turn on the wifi connection on your phone,it automatically scans for available networks and you will be prompted to connect to any of the available networks it recognizes, but if it doesn't get any available network it means there is no wifi connection in the location you are situated.
My first suggestion is to make sure Flight mode is not on. Find the connection manager and look for flight mode. The status should say off. If it says on, press it and turn it off.
After that, I need more details. Are you saying you cannot even connect to Wifi? In the connection manager, what is the status of all your network interfaces (please list them to post up a screenshot)? What happens when you try to switch one of them on?
go to your wireless settings, where you can see the connections that your phone can find, hold your stylus on the connection and remove the settings. after that set up a new connection. problem should be solved
