1. Raise the handset on any telephone in the Panasonic Telephone system.
2. Press the "INTERCOM" button and dial 165.
3. When answered by the Auto Attendant, dial # XXXXX * 9 9 8.
(Pound Six Star Nine Nine Eight)
4. Enter the Administrator Password. Followed by a #. (Pound) If required.
5. Dial 5 to "Modify Message"
6. Dial 1 to "To Change The Company Greeting"
7. Enter the Company Greeting Number from 1 to 32.

If you are not sure of which Company Greeting Number to change, then start with 1.
The Panasonic Voice Mail system will actually play the greeting to you.
Then you can determine if it is the correct one you want to change.
If it isn't, you can dial 2 and move on to next greeting and so on.

If you select a greeting number where there is no greeting recorded,
the Panasonic Voice Mail system will prompt you to record one at that time.
You may dial *1 (STAR ONE) to skip recording and return to Step 7.

8. When you have found the Company Greeting you want to re-record
follow the system prompts to record and save your new greeting.

Note:
You can change the Company Greetings remotely from anywhere.
1. Call the main number of your business.
2. When answered go to Step 3 and follow the same procedures.
3. When completed....Hang up....

SOURCE: how do I set up voicemail

The voice mail extension is dependent on the system it's installed.
In a TA series, the extensions are either 107 or 115. An 848 could use 165, 500 or whatever number the installer assigned.

Your best bet is to go to the "back room" and find the Panasonic branded phone system and voice mail..if there is one, and post back.

SOURCE: KX-T7633 Voicemail rings

The Voice Mail feature is set by your phone company, not by the phone. Typically the phone company will set it for 20 seconds, or approximately 4 rings. This is called your voice mail "Ring Cycle"

Call them up (the customer service number should be on your phone bill) and they should be able to increase or decrease your ring cycle for you at no charge.

Will a panasonic KX-T7636 work with my ta824?

No. An 824 is analog and the 76xx is digital that works only on the TDA/TDE/NCP systems.

Older analog phones (70xx,71xx,73xx and 75xx) will work, and possibly some of the old 616 and 1232 sets, as well as a 308xx 3-line set.

You have a Panasonic 7636 PHONE. The system is either a TDA/TDE or NCP. The Voice Mail system is either embedded or a TVA and it comes with a set of instructions. Custom service announcements and company greetings are administered from the message manager's mailbox 998. Check your original installation notes and documentation for how to do that.

There is and you found it. It's adjustable, depending on your system. In a TDA-30/50 it's system program 473 and the keyword search is either Extension - CO or Call Limit. If turned on, the default is 10 minutes...it's adjustable to 60 minutes.

Hi, can I connect KX-T7636 phon to computer ?

Sort of. The 7636 phone connects to a TDA/TDE/MCP system. There's a 7601 USB module that will connect to the phone and it can be used with special software. Check it with your dealer.

How do i set up new Extention names and numbers for the Panasonic phone KX-T7636

Extensions are named in the 004 programming section of System or Manager programming. You have to have access and a password to get there. Generally, we give everybody access to Manager programming, but your installation may be different. Extension 101, the operator's phone, by default has access, but it may have been changed.

Try page 177 forward with the 004 command on page 183 in the attached manual link. Somewhere, there will be the key to entering letters as you name the extensons.
