Question about Philips GoGear HDD075/17 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Mp3 player My mp3 player was plugged into the computer to charge it, but it had regular and not rechargeable batteries in it. I then put fresh regular batteries in it. Now when I turn it on... it turns off in just a few seconds. Did it get fried or something because i tried to charge regular batteries? Thanks. Mary

Did not receive manual. How do you recharge

Simply attach the USB plug that came with the device to your MP3 Player, then plug the other end into a computer, it should automatically start charging! A full charge usually takes about 2 hours.
Hope this helps!

I've had the same problem as you. It probably just doesn't work on that computer. Try plugging it into another one, see if it charges.

Do you have the USB cord and a laptop? you plug those into each other to charge it or you get the DC adapter.

Audiophase KP512 MP3 player shuts off

I have the same player and I can fix it by removing the battery and replacing it with a fresh battery. I've also found that rechargable batteries never show as being fully charged on the player, so try using a new regular AAA battery and see if that fixes it.
