Which board is that? I paid for the premium service, and they told me to change the STK IC. They couldn't tell me where to find it or which one it is. I've just been all through my unit and I don't see anything labelled STK. I have 2 boards which are easy to access. One is SRS-310 and the other is YPRPB-130 AV5. Do either of those sound close?

Your problem is likely to be in the convergence board power supply p/n 250868. May not be supplying the - and + 15 volt supply, abd the +45 volt and - 45 volts account shorted diode cr19710. p/n 164590. also replace cr19709 the one next to it same part #. Also if stk730-130 is bad it can cause this problem. Also check r 19703 (750k 1/2watt) may be open, q19700(bc457)or nte123a could have base emitter open.
convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks! See link for more detail http://www.ehow.com/how_4575598_yourself-projection-tv-repair-convergence.html
There are two Ics that need to be change to correct the convergency problem. These parts are mounted on a big heatsink.
