Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player

Not working so i got this thing like 2 months ago and it won't charge or turn on at all.

Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.

    If that method didn't work, then your issue is hardware. Try one time to connect to another PC. After that, it's done.

It won't turn on at all. It won't even charge. It's only 4 months old. Wasn't dropped or exposed to water or elements. Was working fine yesterday morning, then about 4:30, it was dead. ...


How long did you let it charge, when the device is completely drained of power it may not turn on at first when you connect it. Let it charge for a little while and come back to see if it fixes it. Failing that, your probably going to have to contact apple for warranty help.

Hi my archos 3 vision is frozen, how do I get it going again

My Archos 1 Vision. Wont play a particular music file. It has played it amazingly fine since i bought it 3 months ago. It was connected to my computer charging for a while, then i turned my system off so it was off for a while.
Wanted to listen to a few songs before bed,turned it on,selected Music,Scrolled down to the file i wanted,Went to select a song.........FROZEN! I can turn it off but the same thing happens everytime i go to select something from this file
Please help i need music on my travels ;-)

You can try a reset by doing this: Slide the power button up for approximately 15 seconds, which is basically like a complete power down of your device. Once you do the reset, it should work like normaly, but the adjustments you made during the last operation of the player will be gone.

My Archos 705 is not turing on.


704/705 will not power up at all without a bettery that has a little charge. If these batteries are not used they have a tendancy to die. you could try charging it on a DVR for a few days. then when you disconnect it from the DVR immediatly connect it to a DC charger and your lights should then work. Either way I would consider id a warranty claim.

I have a creative zen mp3 player.It won`t charge in my computer but the blue LED is on but the screen is black


i have the same problem i let it die completely, and then i plugged it in and then the screen was black nothing but the blue LED is on but it flashes...please help i just got this a couple of months ago!!!!!!

Still not working


Make sure hold is not engaged. If it is not, then the player's done. Call Philips as they have a minimum 90 day warranty.

Recharging mp3


Whenever the PD-6070 is connected to a PC, it will charge. The battery indicator on the OLED screen will slowly fill over and over as it is charging. When the charging is complete, the battery indicator will stay filled.

You should try using a different USB cable and connecting to a different USB port and seeing if the problem persists. If it does, the problem's probably with the iPod's logic board.

Recovery Mode:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
