Foxconn motherboard 650m02-g-6l error signal

Hi, trying to get this computer working. Has a foxconn 650m02-g-6l motherboard with i think is Pentium 4 2.6 intel chip. When i plug it in and press the power button there is a long 3 or 4 second beep, then pause, then beep again. It has 512 mb pc2100 memory, which i tried switching to the other side. 250 W power supply. the heatsink fan seems to be working. Can anybody help me get this thing working? I am a noob at this stuff.

no, it was given to me like this. I contacted foxconn tech and a long beep means memory problem. I did look at the stick of memory and it looks like one of the pins is damaged. Now do i buy a new stick for $20 and see if i can get it to work?? Like i said i am a noob at this stuff. I wish i knew someone who had a stick i could borrow so i could stick in and see if i still get same error signal. It takes pc 1700 and pc2100 memory 233mhz. thanks for helping

I would recommend buying a new stick of RAM at your local store. If it does not work, as long as it is not damaged, most places will take it back without a restocking fee. If it does work, then your good to go!

If it does not work, then there may be a problem with the actual RAM slot on the motherboard,

Does dual core processor support Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H mother board

The Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H motherboard has a LGA 775 Socket. It will support Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, and Core 2 Duo processors with an FSB of 1066 (800MHz). Thus is should support the dual core 775 processors. (Some Pentium 4, Pentium D and Celeron D CPUs may also be compatible with the board.)

I hope this helps.

My computer is not working shows keyboard erro and stop

Hi...

When you monitor saying which is no signal this is a monitor port problem. Check your monitor connector if it is properly connceted to the motherboard. That is the only way of monitor saying no signal.
