My k850i screen works for a second & then goes blank for a minute after which it repeats the same way so iam unable to go to different menus..

After you see the press Del and F12 message repeatedly tap the F8 key, see if that gets to the advanced boot menu, if it does select "Repair my Computer" from the list, and then follow the prompts. Have your Win 7 disk ready just in case you need it.
This problem most common due to when water goes into cell phone. Your k850i phone LCD screen have problem, you should go into Sony Ericsson service center to replace it.
the problem of ur monitor is the power supply board,it is located in the inner part of ur monitor,technician is allowed for that problem.you need to call a technician for repair.
There is a little rectangle shape thing next to the lg logo on the top of the fone screen. If this is blocked by screen protector it will cause the phone to blank of during calls. Its a power saver that blanks the phone when its near your face. Try it. Take off the screen protector & make a call. Then place your finger over the little thing & the screen goes blank. Just cut a lil space in the screen protector & that will fix the problem
It's the lamp. I do have an article on this in my Tips & Tricks regarding lamps, but replacing the lamp is a sure fix. I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK
blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.
