Smoke coming out of lg convection microwave oven while pre-heating. Does that usually happens?? is it safe to use that microwave?

It seems to be self cleaning... burning all the oils that coats the inside from microwaving food that wasn't covered. Clean the oven well and to remove bad smells put lemon juice in a bowl and microwave.

First reset your breaker, then check your wiring in the back of the oven. You may have just a wire loose.

I have a Kitchen Aid convection wall oven. It takes 6 - 7 minutes to preheat to 325 degrees. You probably have a bad element. There are 2 elements.

This usually is caused by a bad convection fan motor. This is something that you should have a technician replace, but ask for a price quote first. Fairly expensive to fix and usually very complicated to get at. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

The good sign is that the motor works fine as do heaters. If the operator interface acknowledges feature selection by beeping or what have you, we can safely say the problem lies with the control board or relay.

try using a voltage stabiliser .it may just solve ur problem..

DO you have a model number for that. I'm almost sure it's a thermal fuse in the back of the oven. Usually they go out during or after cleaning but that would shut down both elements. If you have the model (usually by the inside door look all over and up in the cavity) Then if you go to this link

P.S. if it the fuse it's a cheap fix, little hard to get in back of the oven but cheap!
