I presume your phone is mms enabled, as not all phones can accept mms, if it is an mms phone, try ringing O2 and they can send data to your sim card to update it.
good luck

If you select Restricted, the device prevents you from sending messages that may not be supported. To include content in your messages without notifications, select Free.

3.Contact your operator or service provider to confirm whether:
•Data plan is activated on your SIM card.
•Roaming is activated when you are not in your home network.

IF you want to see your MMS through go to your service provide site.and click the MMS and fill the username and password, and hit enter. you see your MMS in inbox double click to view the MMS.

I cannot retrieve an mms sent from South Africa. I am in Paris.

Dear Masolinda,

It is possible that either the MMS has been corrupted, the network cannot exchange this properly or your provider may ask you to log on to an internet page to view the message. Either way, you will also need to check the format that the picture was taken and saved in, as some handsets and devices vary on what can be opened and viewed.

Does the message show as having been received by your handset? If not, then it is either as I said, a network issue, a handset issue; or the person sending it has entered a defunct or invalid/ wrong number.

Please let me know if something has been received, even if you cannot actually open it; it may still be able to be recovered; also get the sender to confirm your number thoroughly, and find out from them what format the MMS was sent in, and check to see if your phone can receive and open this type of message format

I hope this is the fixya for you, and look forward to hearing a response from you soon.

Yours sincerely

Oz

I CANNOT RECIEVE AN MMS ON MY PHONE.

Hi, sending and receiving of text messages, MMS and internet service has to do with the network setting provided by your network provider. Your network provider has to send you different settings for your internet connection and your MMS connection and since you cannot receive MMS, you have to contact your service provider through their help line or toll free line to make a request for the MMS settings and it will be sent to you before you can start receiving MMS..

Mms can not sent from my phone to other phone

There are certain conditions that have to be meant before you can send MMS on your phone.
Some of these conditions are that you have to possess an MMS compatible phone and you need to subscribe for the service from your network provider. By subscribing, you are sent the configuration message for the settings of the MMS service.
When this is sent, you have to save it to your phone and set it as the default access point for sending MMS messages.
To do this, you would have to call your network provider and request for the configuration message or ask them for instructions on how to obtain this configuration on your phone.
Hope this was helpful?

Howw to activae the mms and gprs of c3000

Hello,

This is more of the phone being connected to your server. Assuming you are using Windows Server 2003 or 2008 and you are the administrator, do this:

  1. Activating MMS
    1. Create a new text message which includes text similar to "MMS" or "Set MMS."
    2. Send the message to your network provider's phone number. This phone number can be found on your provider's website or in your phone's instruction manual.
    3. Turn your phone off and on again once your network provider has sent you a message to confirm that MMS has been activated. It may take up to 24 hours before you receive this confirmation and a further 24 hours before MMS is fully functional.

  1. Activating GPRS

    1. Create a new text message which includes text similar to "GPRS" or "Set GPRS."

    2. Send the message to your network provider's phone number. This phone number can be found on your provider's website or in the instruction manual.

    3. Turn your phone off and on again once your network provider has sent you a message to confirm that GPRS has been activated. It may take up to 24 hours before you receive this confirmation and a further 24 hours before GPRS is fully functional.

Good Luck

Cant send or recieve mms messages

Usually, mms has settings like gprs. Therefore these settings needs to be set on your phone by your Internet service provider, on request.

In my country, mms and gprs phone setting are usually sent automatically by internet service providers immediately you insert your sim card into a phone that has mms & gprs. And these internet service providers are also the network providers.

For instance, if your network provider is Zain, MMS & GPRS settings must be from Zain because that's the network you are using. These settings are as follows: IP Adress (eg. 172.018.254.005), homepage (e.g wap.uk.zain.com), port (1902) and so on....

So check if the above are intact on your phone as this is the only thing that can make your mms work.
Go to message, under message, look out for mms settings and you will see what I am talking about.

Take care.

All the messages sent are blank upon receipt

Are these MMS messages?

If so contact your Network Service Provider to make sure the MMS service is activated on your number.

Ask your Network Server Provider to send you MMS settings OTA (Over the Air). These will come in the form of a text message so just follow the instructions accordingly.

Unable to send/rec pictures SE W850i

Hi,

I think the problem here is with your connection. I understand that you have the right settings from your operator...however you should check with them to see if your line is data enabled for MMS (this is how your pictures are sent....in an MMS message).
