Re: battery

There could be few reasons for that: 1. You are using the camera in extremely cold conditions - Put the battery in your pocket or another warm place to heat it and then load it into the cameras just before taking a picture. 2. The terminals are soiled - Wipe the battery terminals with a clean, dry cloth. 3. The battery has reached it's effective life - Load a new fully charged battery.

My battery comes dead really quick is there a way to boost it?

check the mhr on the batteries you use
they should be re-chargeable batteries as alkaline batteries do not have what it takes and run down very quickly
the re-chargeable battery should be around the 2000 mhr rating

Battery Uses

If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

My HP725 camera said the battery was low and I charged it but it seemed to run out fairly quickly and then I charged again, and now it's dead. Wont turn on to take pics. Is it the battery charger or the...

It sounds like the battery is end of its life. If you plug the power adapter into the camera, does it power on? If it does then it's the battery. (some cameras might requre you to have the battery in there..so put the battery in, but also plug in the power adapter and see if it powers on)

Why does the battery run down so fast????

CRV3 Lithium.

These type of batteries run out quickly, because they are basically just 2x AA Rechargable tapped together. Cameras using these kind or just AA batteries run out quickly and don't last so long. Its always on and running as long as the connectors are touching (Positive and Negative) conductors.

Resolution:
Take out the batteries when not in use
If you have the budget, buy a new camera; stay away from these type of battery cameras
-Price ranges from 100USD-1,000+USD

Good luck, and rate my response.

Batterys run down quickly cannot record more than a couple minutes

If this is not a new unit you should replace the battery. If it is a new battery then either the new battery is bad, or the charger is bad.

My camara quickly runs out of battery

Here are the steps for the low power problem: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty)

Battery Problem

If you have used this camera more than three months Try changing the battery. Before using fully charge the battery. Let the battery consumed in your camera fully then you charge again. Otherwise the battery life will reduce. Try this option before trying any other option.

Best Regards
Rafique
