Check that pc sound proteries are set to usb camera and not your computers own sound card . can be check via properties on speaker in task bar. Right click speaker and sellect adjust audio properties and make sure usb camera is selected for voice recording.

This is fault on the MIC within the unit. Now uninstall the driver software, remove the webcam and then reinstall the drivers once again.Now connect the web cam and open the properties settings on the webcam . check for normal settings . If the fault repeatsthe webcam must be rechecked on another PC. Take opinion to consult if the webcam is under warranty
Make sure your webcam mic is set as the default mic Plug in the webcam

TEST SPEAKERS Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel Select "Playback Devices" The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible Right click on the volume graph and click "Test" Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard
SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC Click "Recording" tab. To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties" In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK' Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later) Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays
CONFIGURE TO YAHOO MESSENGER
Open messenger - on top toolbar. Left click ( > ) Messenger > Preferences > Connection - Select 'no proxies' or 'connect direct to the internet' depending on the version of messenger you have make sure your internet connection and country are correct in the lower two boxes > Apply > OK
Click ( > ) Messenger > Preferences > Video and Voice
well the first thing that you got to check is that if the web-cam has an inbuilt mic to it
If there is no mic then you will have to attach a seperate mic/headset for voice
Also check if its USB port or normal Audio/Video output...if it had audio/video cable then you will have to attach both the cable to the correct port in the Cabinet
If it has USB output cable with inbuilt mic then try to unistall and reinstall the driver software and attach the the webcam only after installing the drivers
