Question about Acer Aspire 5610-2013 Notebook
How do I fix the LCD inverter or where do I get a new one?
The inverter is located at the base of the screen, under the plastic screen bezel, and it looks like a small circuit board which is approx a half inch wide and 4 to 6 inches long. To remove the bezel, you will need to take out the screws that are hidden under the sticky tabs the same color as the bezel or the rubber bumpers on the bezel, then the bezel will snap off. Be careful not to break it at the corners when it snaps off. Once you have the bezel off you will be able to see the inverter, simply disconnect it, and it comes right out. I generally get all inverters for my shop from Ebay, you can find the best prices there. So, I recommend Ebay, and you can also do a froogle.com search for the inverter. You can always go through Acer to get one, but they are going to be considerably more expensive.
