Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Go to my computer, right click, properties, device manager, look down list for mice and pointing devices, click '+' sign, you will see your touchpad, right click select uninstal, then restart notebook it will reinstall itself and should be working as normal.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Dell Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Touchpad drivers.
