Pullstart cable broke

Remove nuts mounting recoil assembly. Observe how rope is wound around pulley. Find end knot in pulley wheel. Cutoff end knot and remove old rope. Find end knot in handle, use needle nose pliers pull thru old rope. Rope is sold by the foot at mower repair shops. Replace rope as observed before removal. Cut to size after wrapping recoil assembly and attaching thru handle at proper length if at recoil assembly or on mower handle. Ensure good knot in hole of recoil assembly and handle.

I took my toro 6.5 lawnmower carb apart and cleaned, now fuel spurts out of red tube into the air cleaner. Why is this happening?

Sounds like you assembled something wrong when reinstalling the carb. Or your missing a step or two.

I need to replace the pull string on my toro personal pace mower. The toro part appears to be riveted to the body of the mower. All other mowers the part you need to remove to attach the pull string to is...

If I'm not mistaken, I had one like this once. I think when you purchase the new one, it comes with screws. You have to drill out the rivets to replace the recoil assembly. Try calling to purchase a new assembly and question them.

I had the same issue. Check the gear box where the drive shaft meets the auger. My problem was the worm gear was missing 3=4 teeth in that assembly

I need help to find how to repair steering assembly Part broken

should be an metal arm under the front of the mower with a swivel ball on each end, if the ball has popped out of the socket it sits in you will need a new arm or maybe 2 new ball swivels, the actual balls are held onto the steering arm by a nut which you can undo to remove the old ball and replace it with the new ones
Hope this helps
