Question about Sony Handycam DCR-VX1000 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Tried Sony? Most converters work well, but you need to find the diameter of the thread on the front of the lens.. then go from there. I use a Sony (Well, Leitz) on my handycam.. has a 37mm thread and gives the 35mm equivalent of an 800mm lens. Quite adequate for most surf footage shot from the beach.

When it gets back, it will be in "like new" condition and ready for many more years of quality service. The repair cost is minimal compared to replacing the cam.
