Hi

Error code F0 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Daniel

We have an approximately 12 year old Jenn-Air downdraft range JDS9860AAP. Serial #22175370GJ. The oven & control panel is shutting off intermittently. Error code F0-0 appeared once.

F0 is usually a stuck keypad button. Sometimes it's a problem with the wiring between the electronic oven control board and the keypad. With this model, it looks like the keypad and control board are sold as a single unit . See https://www.jennairreplacementparts.com/Shop-For-Parts/a13b103d563627/Model-JDS9860AAP-Jenn-Air-Range-Stove-Oven-Parts . You need the series 17 and later control board and timer, WP5760M302-60 . This part is roughly $400 from most vendors. https://www.partselect.com/Models/JDS9860AAP/Sections/CONTROL-PANEL-TOP-ASSEMBLY-AAP/?ModelID=91339&ModelNum=JDS9860AAP&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=1&Selected=53345&Position=3&mfg=Maytag&Type=Range&Mark=3 is another source.

I hope this helps.

I have s176w jennair range that flashes and F1 signal and a makes a buzzing sound when I turn any burners on

F1 usually go back to the electronic control board. Unplug and replug the power back on. If error code comes back, replace board.
You might want to check all wires going to the board for anything unusual...make sure they are properly attached etc.

Model S176W Jenn-air F-1 code flashing and beeping

Not sure what an F1 code is on that unit, but an easy check here,
shut off unit at breaker, remove face and unhook touchpad (ribbon) from the ERC. Turn the breaker back on, If the error code stops and it doesn't beep, the touchpad is most likely the problem. If it continues to beep and throw code, could be the Erc, (or something else telling the erc somethings wrong.) without knowing the F1 fault code, I wouldnt know where to start looking!

I would probably recommend a tech to reinstall the new Erc and or touchpad. Most new electrical components require extreme care when handling/installing, and a tech will know the proper procedures. Good Luck!

Jenn-Air Range: I am getting an F0 error.

F0 is Function key faulty.
Replace touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC)

You can find parts online at partselect.com , or appliancespartspro .

Control panel error

On most Jenn Airs, this means a key on the keypad is stuck. Try shutting off power, inspecting the keys to see if one looks stuck in or feels worn out. Rapidly press each key several times to loosen and clean the contacts. Turn the power back on and see if the problem goes away.

If this fails to help, you will probably need a new keypad for the unit. I don't know what model Jenn Air you have, but you can find parts for most Jenn Air models at Appliance Parts Pros. This is probably an easy fix, but if you are not comfortable or do not know how to safely work on appliances, you may want to call in a qualified tech.
