I just purchased the HP Photsmart Plus B210 series. I followed there set up process, but everytime I power on the printer, It reads "0x61011beb There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If the problem persists, refer to printer documentation." I have tried turning it off, unlplugging everything, and replugging in everything. I have tried plugging it into the wall instead of the power strip. Nothing helps, always the same messge. please help!

SOURCE: Error 0xc18a0301

Error: 0xc18a0301 fix from HP tech support:

Let us perform some steps to isolate the issue and find a fix for it.
Please perform the following steps and let me know the message that will be displayed on the printer.
A. - Press and hold the “*” key.
B. - Press the “#” key and release both keys.
Display should say “Enter Special Key Combo”
C. - Press and release in sequence the “1”, “2” and “3” buttons.

Screen says "support" R0631M

Press and release the right arrow button until the display says “System Configuration Menu”.
Press and release the “OK” button.
Display should say “Hardware failure status”. If not there already, Arrow Key over to “Hardware failure status”,
Press and release the “OK” button.
Display should say “Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear”.

Press and release the “OK” Button. Message changes to “Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue”.

Press and release the “CANCEL” button as many times as necessary, so that, either the “Welcome to Photosmart Express” screen appears, or, the “Ink System Failure” screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.

Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.

Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer

turn the unit on. The printer may display message “USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER” followed by “PRESS OK TO CONTINUE”. Press OK. The Printer will start the “ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS”. Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page.

Is the error message still being displayed on the printer?

Print a self test page to check the functionality of the printer.
Press Setup menu on the All-in-One then scroll using the arrow key and select Print Report then select Self Test Report.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Error code 0x61011beb

Hi,

This seems to be Printer failure error. The best you can expect the printer to work is with the steps below.

Remove all the cartridges from the printer. Wipe the electrical ( tiny golden contacts ) with Lint free cloth. Disconnect the power cord from back of printer and while holding the power and cancel button - connect the cord. Release the buttons after 2-3 seconds.

It should prompt you to install cartridges. Hope everything goes smooth, if not it could be hardware related issue. You can also contact HP on 1-800-474-6836 for further information.

Regards,
Sean

i you have forgotten the password, you can change it by logging on to your router and settings a new wifi password.
you can find out your routers adress if you go to start - run.. and type in cmd and hit enter there you get a black screen, type ipconfig /all (followed by enter) and look for default gateway (thats the adress to your router)
