(from my bad memory) : check BIOS, there is a option in the PCI sub-menu for the network card. You have to enable a "bios rom" option somewhere (and not only the "int18" option).

It's possible that a power surge took out your power supply. If that is the case, then it may have caused further damage beyond just that part.
If possible check the computer with a different monitor to isolate that as a possible problem. If there is still no display then you most likely have problem with the on-board graphics. This system does not use a separate video card ( unless you have added one). The graphics are built onto the motherboard.
There are two options to fix this. One would be a new motherboard if they are still available. The other would be to add a graphics card to the system. This unit does not have an AGP slot but should have an open PCI slot. You could purchase a PCI graphics card and try it in there. Once the display is up you will most likely need to turn off the on-board graphics in the BIOS settings. One nice thing about this fix is that you should notice increased graphics performance.
One warning though, since you have no display we can't be sure that this is the only problem with the unit.
A repair shop should be able to do this for you if you don't feel confidant in attempting this.
Good luck!

Brian,
Go to the manufacturers website and download the most current driver. Go to device manager and uninstall the device.
Run the driver install that you downloaded and then reboot the computer.
It should pick up driver you installed.
You are probably seeing the ! because windows loaded a generic driver and the device does not recognize it.
