Question about Samsung MP3 & Digital Media Players
Did you get an installation disk with your mp3 player? If you did try installing it sometimes it might not work if just plugged in. Hope this helps.

I solved the problem on my win98se OS by using the drivers from GPX
from another mp3 player ( MW6347DT ). Before, it did not find the pci
to usb drivers, etc. Now, all the proper drivers are being found.
The MW6347DT driver for win98 can be found here:

check if your usb cord if defective.
To check if the mp3 is recognized by the computer go to device manager in the compuer properties.
Go to device manager go to hardware tab and search for new hardware, if you see a question mark in the usb port it means that the computer cant recognize it and you may need a driver. Some mp3 have cd installer of its software. Install it in your computer. and try if the computer can recognize it.
also check if your usb port is working properly...
