Ur tv have a dead board that call the LCD inverter board. This LCD inverter board it is a Long board. It only job are to provided a backlight to the tv LCD screen panel to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a long refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.
If the backlight was broken, why would it turn on for a couple of minutes then go off? I've pointed a strong flashlight at other LCD screens that didn't have a backlight, and could see the pictures. The screen remains black when I pull out the flashlight for this tv.
If u pointed a strong flashlight at the other tv u are fixing u can see a picture, because it not a Long LCD inverter board backlight problems,it is a T-CON board problems is it not processing signal through by the long LCD inverter board to give the tv LCD screen panel to get a backlight. If the tv Long LCD inverter board is dying and not getting enough voltages that why the backlight to the tv LCD screen panel only stay on for a couple minutes.
Now that I've inserted a new inverter board, the television came on and stayed on fine for over two hours. I was using it as a monitor for my computer, and it went into power saving mode and turned off the tv. Now that I try to turn on the tv, it turns on with its initial screen where it displays the producers name, then it just goes black. The audio also hasn't worked with the tv since I inserted the new board. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?
I hate people like you.
Recheck the tv power supply board carefully for any weak or dying leakages capacitors,by visaully look at capacitors as any indication like bulges up or puffing up onto it tops?Yes,than fixed the tv power supply board or replaced it.If not any visually indication capacitors have any problems dying or leakages.Try the tv power button pushes a couple times if the picture are there and stable and work than the tv Main Tuner signal board it is effected dying and slowly shorting it out.Than the main tv Tuner signal board must be replaced.
The tv worked fine after leaving it off for 8 hours. I used it for another hour, turned it off, and now it won't show the video again. Would this have to do with the tuner signal board? Or, is there some other small part that could be checked/replaced?
