Hi dishwasher starts then blows fuse in plug so far into cycle leaving dishwasher full of water

Unit blows fuse because it is using power beyond specs. Something has to be binding and slowing down the motor to cause this. Check motor bearings, mechanism, etc.

Keep blowing fuses

This means there is water collected on the base of the dishwasher cabinet under the bottom drawer. You will need to disconnect the dishwasher mains plug and take the bottom drawer out to dry the base out. Follow instructions in this manual (page 7 step 2) to remove the drawer.

Dish washer blows the switchboard fuses have to un plug it

Please clarify if the dishwasher had completed the wash cycle before the fuse started blowing up. It is likely there is flooding at the base of dishwasher which causes the mains fuse to blow. YOu will have to take the bottom drawer out to check. see this video on how to take drawer out. The steps are shown half way through the video. Make sure the mains plug is taken out from the socket before you handle the dishwasher.

The fuse keep on blowing after few minute of use in electrolux dishwasher ESl4114

Hi, the most common fault on a washing machine is when the heating element is breaking down it will cause a trip or a fuse to go because it is a "resistive load" i.e a small short circuit.
Try to put your washer through a cold wash cycle if it completes the cycle without blowing the fuse then you know that you need a new element. If it still blows the fuse then you are looking at most likely a motor problem.

The thermal fuse blows out midcycle. It used to occur about every 6 months but is getting more frequent

The first thing I would inspect is the heating element for damage that may beginning to short out.

If the element checks out good, a failing motor could blow the fuse.

If the motor checks out, look for shorts in the wiring both in the door and under the unit.

It is hard to be more specific without knowing the make & model and the dishwashers approximate age (years.)

Good Luck! Please report back what you found, OK?

The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button...

Lower the outlet hose into a washing up bowl, it should then Drain. Check the heater to see if it is earthing you get to it by removing the right hand side panel.
