Do I need to have the old sim card or new sim card in the phone? I enter the code but it is still asking for a "Enter restriction code:" I might be doing it wrong.

My cell phone is using only one network and I want to all network from different operator

The question for this becomes what type of phone is it, there are a number you have listed above. Generally speaking if you are located within the United States there are 2 "types" of cell phone service: GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) and CDMA (Code division multiple access). Generally speaking, if you have a United States GSM phone it will not work on CDMA networks and vice-versa. However if you happen to have a phone that is compatible with the new network you are trying to access, many service providers offer "unlock" codes for a nominal fee ($5-10$) so long as your contract would not need to be terminated. This question largely depends on these two items as a result: Your carrier, and the carrier you are trying to go switch to.

Hope this helps!

Hi ineed to unlock my nokia 5146 with T mobile i cannot find the iemi could you please help ?

Hi,
To find the iemi code *#06#

NETWORK UNLOCK CODE:

To unlock your mobile you need to get network unlock code(NUC) from current service provider via phone or go to service provider office.

While you get the Network unlock code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only.If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the network unlock code.

RESTRICTION CODE:

To get restriction code you have to call your previous service provider. This code is provided to prevent in case of theft taken place the other person cannot use your phone in other networks.

While you get the restriction code ,the previous service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only.If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the restriction code.

These codes are always free.DONOT pay money for these codes. The website which provides these codes are fake.DONOT trust them.

Thank You

Restriction Code Needed for Nokia 6030

resriction codes are best obtained from the original carrier. There are websites1.gif that cn get you an unlock code but they may cost $$. Be careful if you obtain a code from anyone besides the original carrier. If you enter the wrong unlock code too many times your phone will be permanently locked to the original carrier.

If phone was on ATT/Cingular originally, then you can buy UnLock code off ebay or net. If it is an older old BLUE ATT network, then the phone must be unlocked my using downloadable software you can use youself with an XP or earlier PC with an USB port. I don't know of any one selling unlock codes, based on phones IEMI code, that would work. Or at least get a guarantee if someone offers you this. If it is an ATT/Cingula or T-Mobile phone, then it can be unlocked using a code sent you base on IEMI number.

Google phones model and UNLOCK to find free downloadable software. This will also work on any HTC Typhoon phone, which the Audiovox SMT5600 is just one of many carriers that sold it.
