Question about HP OfficeJet 5110 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Colour is not the same as the document

Hi there...Please Help! I am exhausted with this problem! I have replaced my cartridges and have done all the necessary test, like: alignment, clean etc....The document calls for RED in some places....the printer is bypassing this and printing PINK (CYAN)..I think? Instead of THE RED!

Please help me......stuck here!

    I am using Windows OfficeXP 2003 - I initially misplaced the original HP installation CD when I moved house this year - but obtained a copy of this CD directly from HP through the mail. This was sucessfully loaded-reinstalled. Have had no printing problems until yesterday when the BLUE on a printed document started appearing MAGENTA/PINK. This prompted me to obtain a replacement cartridge thinking that the colour was 'UP'. The situation has not changed even with the 'new' cartridge.



    I have not replaced a driver.

What software are you using?

It might not be the printer at all.

Have you replaced the drivers to your recently?

    When you run the color test on the printer using the HP tool kit, does it show up as red on the page?

switch to black and white on the printer settings.make sure ignore colour warnings are turned off

if that doesnt work youll need to replace the cyan,get it refilled for less or order online to reduce cost

My printer is hp laserjet cp 1515n. After printing some documents it writes "printing cool down mode" and begins working very slowly. Please help me


1515n - I have the Magenta colour 'shadowing' the blue test. A mirror image of the blue text. [slightly staggered] Black is fine. Applies to all Word docs when printing in blue - can you help please?
I only use genuine cartridges.

Cannot photocopy document


hi...

the colour catridge has nothing to do with the black and white print out if it is a text document. please check you have placed the black catridge propely and in correct positon. and try printing out the pages

I have a Lexmark 1200 printer. Colour promlems


It could be that the cartridge has become dry.
you have to try several head cleans using the printer software and if that doesnt help then the cartridge needs to be replaced.

Printing colours


The color cartridge is faulty, you need to replace it.
If it is new ask a refund.
After putting a good cartridge do head cleaning.

Green light blinking is indicated that u r one of the cartridge (or both cartridges ) are faulty .please check u r printer with tested Ok cartridges ...it should be resolved

Black Printer cartridge


It will tell you the colour is low, regardless of the format in which you are printing. I don't believe Canon provide a way for you to disable this for their printer range, so you'll need to put in the new colour cartridge to get rid of this error. (you should however, be able to print whilst receiving this message)
