All of a sudden my phone (the original Blackjack) stopped making any sounds when a call is received. I thought the speaker was bad or something, but I can activate the speakerphone and it works as well as everything else except rings. So I am having tons of missed calls. The first thing I did was check the profile, but to my surprise the profiles page is blank, all the profiles are gone. Where can I download them from or is this even possible?

Hey I dont know exactly where your located but you should go to SOS Wireless in Upland CA they fix phones there. They helped me with a waterdamged phone and fixed it. You should try them they really know their stuff! :)
Well if you did the update to WM6 you might be having the same issues others have had... Try this...
Open messenging, then Mesages, then hit menu and press up to highlight "Multimedia Msg. Options", press 3 to goto "multimedia Msg. Profiles. You should see "AT&T MMS" press menu then edit. Make sure that you see "wireless.cingular.com" in the address field. If you dont have any fields filled out here they are line by line:
AT&T MMS http://mmsc.cingular.com (check) in proxy 80 and have MEdia Net selected
That SHOULD get you going, if not post back and I will help you with any other settings you need.
I have a solution. Call at&t. they will send you a new one. I have had my phone for 5 months and it happened to me also. There's a warranty on the phone itself that covers it from the day "you" started using it. I bought mine from a friend. Cool!! It should be here in 5 days free shipping.

Here's how to edit the ring settings for any function:
1. Start Menu
4. Select the profile you want to change by scrolling down then Clicking Menu (right soft button) and Edit
5. Scroll down to Notification Type and choose Vibrate or None if you want to silence it
