I think your battery is weak or you may be using low ampear battery, please replace it with energizer this may solve, in some cases the zoom motor and the related gears will make problem
if it struck you should open it then clean the dust with small air blower then fix it again
thanx

DSC-W150 SteadyShot says turn power on & off & lens pops in/out

I had the same problem with my Sony DSC-W150 camera. It turned out to have an easy fix. At the same time, press the power button and depress the shutter button halfway (the one you snap to take pics) as if you were trying to engage the autofocus without pressing the button down entirely. The lens will attempt to autofucus, which in my case was enough extra power to dislodge whatever debris/sand had clogged the lens. Hope this works for you!

SONY H2 does not turn on

You should always use the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom of your screen. Now, remove the card and the battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.

Please try Power Resetting the Camera.
To Power Reset the Camera, First, please turn OFF the Camera.
Then, remove the battery pack from the Camera.
Then, press and hold the POWER button on the Camera for 30 seconds.
Then, reinsert the battery pack and check whether the issue is resolved.

Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 will not turn on.

I have this problem too. The bad news is that so far, I have tried all the prescribed remedies. I called Sony. Hector had me press the preview button to see if I could get the camera to show pictures on file. It did. Hector then told me to press the preview button again, to see if it would switch to camera. It did not. I also set the camera to ISO and got a message to turn off the camera and turn it back on which did not work. All of this said, Hector determined that the problem was in the lens mechanism, and I could mail the camera to Laredo TX or find a dealer local that can fix it. Laredo will const me 149.00 American Pesos. I have yet to determine how to remove the lens my self, as it may just need cleaned out. If I find out how, I will post it here.

Sorry.

Power on

Hi

You need to open up the camera again and check all the connections for the cables and make sure everything is connected properly. Most likely it's just a cable that isn't plugged in properly.

Hope this helps.
