Question about LG VOYAGER VX10000 Cellular Phone
Phone can make calls and receive calls but when calling or answering, I cannot hear the far end nor can the far end hear me. I tried looking for options to see if my daughter someone disabled the audio but I cannot find anything. Phone was working then my daughter started playing with the keys so I figured she disabled something.
This just happen to me 45 seconds ago what you do is put the phone on the charger and make a call to your self or voice mail and then you unplug the charger and hit your speaker or try and hit your speaker button while its on charger then unplug one or the other. this is what i did to fix this problem

Plug in the phone to any working charger. Turn on the phone. Open the phone to expose the keypad. Locate the speaker button on the lower right hand side. Unplug the jack from the phone and at the same time repeatedly push the speaker button. Now you will hear sound on the speakers and the screens displays "Speaker on"
Fixed. Your phone will now work in both closed and open modes.

I had this same problerm and it happened after i used headphones in it. Everything was working fine and then the audio for calls stopped working. I could do everything like text, email, IM, but i couldn't hear calls and the other end could not hear me. I also could not use my VCAST. I tried making a call with the headhpones in and I could hear them and they could hear me but only faintly. Then i took the headphones out while the call was STILL IN PROGRESS and the audio corrected itself and i could hear the caller through the actual phone again. I do not recomend using headphones beacuser the phojne seems to "get stuk in headphone mode." Try this and if uit doesn't work I am very sorry ad understand the immense frusteration. This is how I fixed it. The Verizon people dodn't tell me andything. They had no idea.

I Figured it Out !!! The Lack of Memory in the Phone Disables certain features if Used Up .. by Placing a Memory card into the Phone and transfering over Your Pics / Videos .. and Setting Back 2 Default Your Phone Should Work too .. By the Way F### Verizon.

Stuck a memory card into the phone. Set memory to save to card for pictures, video and sound. power off and on. Set memory back to save to phone for all three options and was able to make calls again. Verizon was no help at all.. they updated firmware lost my pictures and are trying to charge me 1.99 a month to save my pictures. they **** and are nickel and diming customers. no more verizon for me!!!

It's related to memory...simply took out the memory card and the phone is working again...

I have the same Probelm...I went and moved my photos and videos on a memory stick. Then i called myself. Hang up then press the speaker button! And it works Perfect!
If you have a blue-tooth this could be slowing down the phone and freezing the sound up...If you use head phones that could also be your problem.

Ran into this issues with the LG Voyager yesterday after 3 years of owning the phone with no problems. The solution for me was to reconnect and disconnect the ear piece jack several times. There appears to be a loose connection inside my phone. However, now I have audio for the time being.

Same problem. Someone suggested a hard reset but I am still trying to figure out how to do that.
