AV1 AV2 DVD Connectivity

yellow, white and red wires usually connected to the same name same colors on both devices.
Does the tv need to be on a certain channel? YES, try change to all ex: VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, DIGITAL, ANALOG, HDMI or any according to tv sysem

Look at the guide below use AV1 or AV2
Match the colors vertically
Click on "INPUT" key a blue screen will appear Choose AV1 or AV2 according the connection you have made at rear panel

sir, check the cable which is connects TV and DVD player Audio Video cable ... both should locate at AV1 port in TV and DVD... else AV2

I expect if you look at the menu you will find that AV2 is set up as S-Video or Component etc. etc. Set it up as composite or RGB. The same as AV1.

If you are connecting your DVD and VCR to the TV using Scart leads, simply go into TV input option on your tv remote and switch to AV1 or AV2. i.e AV1 for VCR or AV2 for DVD player.

Look at the rear of the TV/VCR/DVD & you will see long black sockets where the Scart cable is connected onto, these are normally indicated as AV1/2 etc. You can then take Scart from DVD to TV on AV1. Then on AV2 take the second scart from VCR to TV or you can take the second scart from the DVD to the VCR & from the VCR to AV2 on the TV.

If you have two scart sockets on your tv,then connect a scart from av1 on the dvd into the tv,then connect a scart from the sky box into av2 on the dvd,your recording channel on the dvd will be av2.
If you only have on socket on the tv,then connect a scart from av1 on the dvd into the sky box,your recording channel will be av1,connected like this you may have to turn off the sky to watch dvd`s.

Av out from sat to AV1 on TV.
AV2 from tv to av in on dvd/vcr .
( if you can pick what av2 on the tv sends out set to send av1 out to record)
OR
AVout from sat. to AV1 on TV, AVvideo on sat to vcr/dvd.
The sat. system will act as a "play through" device so you can play vcr/dvd without changing the AV on the TV.
If you connect another lead in either option you may get a feedback loop causing audio "squeak" and video problems.

You have to make sure that the RCA cables are properly connected to the TV. Check the TV/Mode if it's set to AV1 (Audio/Video1) or AV2. You may check the TV remote to set it to AV1 or AV2.

From the DVD, the cable should be connected to OUT. And on the TV...video and audio should be connected to IN.

just used av2 socket on tv instead of av1
