Little green machine model 1400 leaks from the bottom dirty water etc...How to fix

SOURCE: bissell spotbot: leaking the dirty

I had the same issue. After some research, I determined I was missing a black "duckbill" gasket on the bottom of the dirty water collection tank.

This caused reduced suction, and for the water to pool at the botom of the spotbot, thus leaking.

I purchased the gasket at Bissell for 1.39. The part number is 203-6646.

I purchased my SpotBot new from Target, and never remember seeing this black gasket, but the difference is night and day.
