Question about Tomtom GO 910
In general I find these sort of problems can be fixed by the below
If the Tomtom loses battery power it might cease to function with a blank screen but will show a green light when you charge it. The trick is charge it on the mains charger for at least two hours. Then reset the device with a paper clip. If you get no reponse hold down the on button for at least 20 secs and the device will show the Tomtom logo and play a drum roll and startup normally.

First you should try resetting the TomTom by inserting a thin pointer ( a paper clip is ideal ) into the reset hole underneath the TomTom . It's very tiny and is very near to the contacts under the TomTom.
Just 1 short press of the reset button is all thats required to do a reset. You can feel the button click as it's a tactile switch.
After trying a reset try switching your TomTom on the normal way.
If it won't switch on then it's very possible you have damaged components inside ( often caused by a faulty cigarette lighter lead ) .
If you are unlucky and it doesnt switch on , please reply again and i'll try and advise you firther.
