We have recently reset our zyair g-4100 v2 due to logging in probs, tried logging in several times to the ip address 192.168.1.1 with no luck. Have noticed however that when we click our zyxel icon, it takes me straight to the internet, on further investigation i could not find any software, driver etc for it, it has just vanished. I did go into start, command, prompt and ping the address, also with no luck.
Your help would be much appreciated. I am currently unable to check my emails so chat or a phone call would be most convenient.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

I bought a used power outlet control unit(PDUMH30NET).I could not find any instructions how to reset to factory defaults to clear out any static IP address and go to DHCP, so I pulled out the card, saw a small pushbutton between the 2 round connectors. I think the following process did the reset but its IP wasn't showing up at the router so I tried a couple of combinations before I found the IP with a PING scan. Take off the small plate holding the card in(2 screws) With a toothpick reach between the round connectors and press and hold the small button for close to a minute. I also tried pressing it and holding it while inserting the card. The card takes several minutes to restart so wait for the green Status light. If you can't see it's MAC and IP address at the router, paste this in a Command window and run it:
FOR /L %i IN (1,1,254) DO ping -n 1 192.168.0.%i ' FIND /i "Reply">> c:\ipaddresses.txt
Look in the file for an IP that wasn't on your network before- that should be it.Put it in the browser and you should get the login. admin/admin got me in.
have same unit colin and was a nightmare to sort but finally did it.
you need to set up port forwarding on your router and set up dydns account and switch on the service on your dvr. enter details on dydns page on dvr.
if you cannot log in via web address provided by dydns try entering your ip add with port your forwarding like this 22.214.171.124:9950
Go to www.facebook.com, click on the 'forgotten your password' link above the log in box. Enter the details needed, and click 'reset my password'
You WILL need to know your email address to retrieve the email Facebook will send you. If you don't know your email address password, recover this first by going to the website of whoever your email address is with. For example if you're with hotmail go to www.hotmail.com, if you're with yahoo, go to www.yahoo.com.
Once you have recovered your facebook password and logged on, you can then change you email address by clicking on 'account', then 'account settings' then clicking the 'change' button next to 'email'
If this problem just started on a network that was working try resetting (unpluging) the router and modem. Another option is to do a "repair"
I assume this is a wireless connection.
Open your wireless network connection and go to the support tab.
Here is where you can do a repair. This will reset your network adaptor.
Try this and it should solve the problem.
Identifying Your Router's IP Address You should have now received an IP address from your router. To view your IP address information do these two steps:
Start > Run then type CMD then press Enter.
Then in the command prompt type ipconfig /all
If you see your network interface with a list of IP addresses(should not be all 0.0.0.0's or 169.* addresses). If you got an IPstarting with 192.168.* or 10.* you are doing great! If not, verifyconnections or reboot computer. Observe the Gateway IP Address. This is the router's IP address. It may be one of the following, test in your Web browser: http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.0.50 or http://10.0.0.1
Once you see a login prompt, you need to log in with the default routerlogin. Usually they are a combination of "admin" and no password or"admin" for the password and no username " or "admin" for username and"password" for the password. Alernatively, you can search Google withyour model number and it should yield you some useful information onyour router including the default login/password.
Then when you are inside it, you should go to the LAN section andenable DHCP (if it already isn't). For security you may limit theamount of addresses to the number of computers (you don't have 254computers, so why allow 254 computers addresses?). For example, I allow3 IP addresses on my network to be issued, since I have a NAS, Laptopand a Desktop.
you have to log into the main IP address, not the camera IP address. If you are using wireless, the camera will have an IP address different than the one for the router coming from the ISP.
I just bought this camera myself and am trying to work out the kinks. My ip keeps changing and i am not sure how to keep it the same, static?
connect the computer to the Voice terminal VT1005v( WAN port)<---PC and check the ip address on the computer which should be "192.168.102.X". Open the web interface of voice terminal ( type in " http://192.168.102.1/admin.html " in the address-bar of your internet browser ). you can see the Restore Factory Defaults button and click on it. So you can reset the device. After that, reboot the your whole network.
