Hello, andy

I was trying to help you out here. Maybe this will help some? I was going back to some customers that asked questions in the recent past and even farther back. It appeared that no one answered some of them, So, I thought I would take some of my personal time to see if I can help. Even though this Informational site may not have your exact model or brand, this site will help you a lot. Here is a site link about everything you want to know about ovens and possibly yours, from
repair to trouble shooting it. Now go easy on me, I am just trying to help. If it does great if not, I am sorry.

Here is also my direct link to my own pages of other areas of my expertise for other problems you might have in Automotive, Appliance, and Electronics. Drop In anytime for my help.

I've read the "getting started" instructions regarding the auto matic switch on and it doesn't seem to make sense. I can get it to turn off automatically but not on. Sorry for being dim.

Firstly, make sure the actual time is correct. Set the oven (if it's a double oven the clock function will only work on the main oven) to the setting and temp required. The first timer setting you put in is the cooking duration (not the start time) ie if it's a casserole that you want on low for a couple of hours, adjust the first setting to 2:00, when you press for the next setting you will see the the timer has already added 2hrs to the current time, adjust this to the time you want the item to finish (eg, You want it ready for 6pm, adjust to 18:00). Don't press anything else, give it a second or two and the oven will switch off. The oven will switch on 2hrs (or whatever time you have set) before the end time. Whilst the oven is waiting to switch back on, on some models the cooling fan will run continually, this is normal. If you are a little slow enter the times the clock will time ut and return to the actual time.
Hope this helps

Unable to get cooker out of automatic mode

If your oven has timer and it is flashing AUTO then you need to reset it to manual for it to work.
If no timer then it could be a faulty door micro switch, located at the front left side..\Hope this helps, please leave feed back.
