Are you sure it is your charger and not the battery? (Batteries)
You could buy a new Sony charger, but there are lots of universal camera battery chargers, that won't cost as much and you can use it for every battery from every camera. Pick the right one and you have a charger for years to come, whatever your new camera will be and how big or small the batteries are.

There are two Sony Cybershot camera models with 7.2 megapixels, the DSC W120 and the DSC P150. The Sony Product pages for each has many helpful resources including a download of the manual.
Go to the proper Product Page, then click on the "Manuals" tab to access the link to download the manual (see below). It's a .PDF file so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. It's a free download available at: http://get.adobe.com/reader/. Don't forget to save the download to your hard drive for future use.
The above page has a tab for accessories, including the USB cord; they give the part number, VMC-14UMB2. It is a 5 pin male mini B to 4 pin male B USB cable.
For the card reader, check if there is an update (firmware) for your card reader (from the manufacturer). Many will have this on their web site. (External card reader may need to be disconnected while this is installed.) Then make sure you insert the card in the correct orientation. If that doesn't help, look for a card reader that supports Memory Stick Pro/ Pro Duo slot (MG).
If your Pc running Windows XP or Vista then no need of any software and DSC-W80 camera can be plugged in USB port as plug-n-play. You will see camera memory as "Removable Disk" in My Computer and can access in picture folders by clicking them.
