Depending on the phone model, to program a specific number contained in the phone's contacts for silent mode is usually done by going to the phone's contacts > highlighting the contact > selecting 'View' > selecting 'Edit' > scrolling down and selecting 'Ringer ID' > and selecting 'Silent.'
Each number for Silent Mode must be programmed individually and not all mobile phones have this option.
Incoming calls from phones not already programmed in 'Contacts' cannot be silenced automatically unless all incoming calls are silenced automatically.
To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Mode Step 1 To place the handset in Silent / Vibrate Only Mode, hold down the pound key (#) for about 2 seconds.
