I have checked water supply to the machine O K.Is it the water valves are getting no imformation from main circuit board therefore no letting any water into the machine

Hi,

The scrambled error code is significant. This could possibly indicate a logic problem in the controller board. True that an error is present such as that the water is not filling, however, it is likewise likely that the control board itself is causing the intake water valves not to open.

As ginko pointed out, there is no such code but this does not mean that there is no error. It could be that part of the system that detects the error and eventually displays is is faulty, and were are back to the controller board. This is also probably the reason the system will not reset as proposed by onnieh49 though you can try it for a longer period, say 1 hour. Should you be interested, a listing of standard error codes for most Hotpoint machines may be found here.

perhaps it would be to your advantage to post back the exact model number of the Hotpoint Washing Machine.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Try unplugging the machine and then plug it back in after about 5 minutes

First try unplugging the machine.

Then try emptying the machine, unplugging and running a small load.

    First try unplugging the machine.

Then try emptying the machine, unplugging and running a smaller load.

If this did not fix it then the machine it is probably faulty

Start checking the power supply at the back, if water is not coming into the machine cycle will stop.

Check that the drain hose is not obstructed.

See if inlet valve is working and see if water is being poumped into the machine and drained during the cycle.

Here are more hints from Repairclinic:

The cycle doesn't advanceWhen the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's
the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins
agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin
cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It
may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with
water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse
water. See There's no cold water.

I cannot find error EE5E on Aquarius.
Try to understand what the right error code is.

there is no EE5E code as far as I know. If the error instead is F05, this means that the pressure switch is jammed or defective.

This can happen because of a faulty or obstructed drain out pump.

You access the pump removing the panel at the back of the washing machine at the base of machine. Once you get to the pump you unplug the two hose, remove the pump unplugging wires, and lifting the plastic block. Then you clean or replace the pump.

If no water is coming it is probably a fault with the inlet valve, or with the cycler control.
You need to test the inlet valve by energising it, if it does work fine you replace the control panel.

If you have obstructed drain out pump instead, water does not come in as there is the error message, but machine stays filled with water and does not drain.

Sounds like motor is not coming up to spin speed. May be overheating, in which case you would need a new motor.
