Mobile is dead due to water damage


I would suggest to leave it to dry. If possible - disassemble it for better results. Then if there will be any residues try to clean with alcohol. And then try to turn it on. Other option is to give it to local mobile repair center. Good luck

Not enough info. What were you doing with it when it went dead. And open means what? You cant switch it on or you cant remove the back plate????

There can be many reasons for which you are having this problem

  • Faulty battery (battery dead discharging slowly)
  • The display is damaged .
  • Certain virus in the mobile can cause this problem . If so you need to reset your mobile .

open mobile case remove battry do not try to make on the phone it will damaged permanently.,open it dry it up with bulb (100wats) a gap of 1or 2 feet dry it up with care on it after propery dry condition 2 or 3 days latter after drying it

Water, cellphones worst enemy, i sugest you to buy a new one as the damage of water occurs just withing 2 minutes of the contact, this is because the water starts reacting with the metals inside that have electriciy on them that often creates corrosion and that corrosion is conductive. if you want to minimise damage next time i suggest you to IMEDIATLY remove the battery and put your phone in a sock or piece of clothe and swing it round to remove the water from its guts. this way i have saved some phones afterwards i used a hair dryer to dry them up as soon as possible.
