when computer is swiched on screen will not move of acer screen,it instucts me to press f12 to boot my pc but nothing happens i have tried 3/4 differant key boards,lights on keyboard flash once when computer is switched on.

when you hit F12.... does it enter the bios setup screen ?

ok fair enough.... boot the computer and watch the screen.... you need to watch for the key to enter setup.... delete key seems to be the most popular but i've had computers use f1 and f2, f11 and f12.... if it goes to fast hit pause as it gets to the point where it tells you the key to hit to enter setup.... after you are in change the boot sequence to boot to cdrom..... hit f10 and save the changes... reboot to the cd and continue with your install
