To use your phone via USB you do need to load a special
driver. You can usually find this, but only from the phone maker not
your provider. Since you didn't tells us what phone and model you are
using I can't point you to the driver.
If you want you can
comment back with the phone maker and model and we can get you the link
if you are unfamiliar with finding drivers. Otherwise, going to your
phone makers home page and clicking support will get you started in
finding the USB driver for using your phone as a modem.
the usb modem you are using is compatible with windows vista but for that u need to install the driver software ie sxc 1080 vista dialer 32 bits . you can download this software from the tataindicom site which is www.tataindicom.com. windows 98 and vista have different software compatibility.
Hi I'm Sathiya. I use Windows Vista Home Basic platform. I recently bought a TATA Indicom Plug to Surf connection. It had issues with drivers. I went to Tata indicom site and downloaded the latest driver for Vista. After installing the drivers, my connection is working fine. Make sure that you choose the right version.
