Available space on a Compact Flash Card is not displayed correctly.

This problem can occur when all root entries have been used on the storage device. The type of FAT, mix of long and short file names determine the total number of files that can be stored in the root. Solution: Format the storage cards to FAT 32 before use. FAT 32 does not have any limitations to the number of files stored in the root directory.
