check to see if speakers are on or off--if model number here is correct and it only has one speaker--put your ear right to the speaker and if no hum or anything the single speaker set may have a bad speaker.

When i plug in the speakers no sound is coming out it doesn't work correctly i cant hear anything i'm playing.

Hi taceeg06,
Have you check all the Volume setting on you computer?
On the lower right side look for the computer Icon check if there is a red X on the speaker Icon, if there is then it can be that here is something wrong with the speaker driver or it does not detect the speakers.
If you do not see the speaker Icon then the Driver for the Audio card is not installed on the computer and you may need to re install that Audio Card Driver to be able to regain the audio from your Speakers.
Also the speakers should connect to the Green Audio Jack behind the computer, if it is then still no Audio you can try the Audio Jack in front of the computer as well to check the Audio Card in the Machine, if the front and back audio jacks do not detect nor produce sound when the speakers are connected then re installing the driver for the Audio card may work, unless during the installation an error shows that the there is no audio device detected then it means the Audio Card is busted.
Let us hope not since it is very seldom an Audio Card could go busted.
I hope this helps.
Have nice day,

Speakers/Audio problem

This isn't going to have anything to do with your speakers. It will be something in your system settings that deals with Internet or Video. Check your Sound card selections and your equalizer settings to make sure you don't have it muted somehow.

I have a dell computer and the speakers are attacked to it but i cant hear anything. i checked if the cables were in the right place but they are and i still cant hear anything. i went to control panel and...

If everything is grayed out in the audio devices property in the control panel, that means there's a problem with your audio driver, first step I would take is to reboot your machine, hopefully it will come back.

If that fails, most Dell computers come with a Application CD, put the CD in the CD rom drive and have it reload the audio drivers back in.

Also make sure your speakers are plugged into the green port on back of your computer

I have got 2CH speakers idont know where to plug in to the CPU

There are usually 3 audio connectors on a sound card. For Line in, headphone/line out and microphone. The connectors maybe connected to the motherboard or there is a separate sound card.
These connectors are 2.5mm audio sockets - connect the speakers to the headphone/line out (usually green).
If you are not sure which connector to plug the speakers in, just start a audio CD and plug the speaker plug into each socket connector until you get music from the speakers. You will not damage anything if you plug the speakers in the wrong audio socket.

I can't hear anything coming out of them

a few things to check:

1. do the speakers work if they're plugged into anything else (eg a personal CD player or ipod)? If so, go to step A.
2. does a pair of headphones work in the audio-out socket? If so, go to step B.

A. check the sound driver. check software volume levels. check the audio out socket on the computer. It may need replacing.

B. replace speakers.

Cant hear anything

Hello, I would fist advise you to get the audio output specs and the service manual for this unit and look at the voltage level at the speaker, and the last audio stage of the CB. What I believe is that the audio amplifier or the audio detector of the CB has malfunctioned. I would suggest that you inject a signal at the proper level into the stage after the audio detector (first audio amp) and see is the sound can be heard properly at the speaker, then I would measure the audio at each stage leading to the first audio amplifier to determine where the audio is dropping out at. once found, check the DC voltages at that stage and determine which comploente is at fault, the culprit is most likely a bad filter capacitor. I hope this helps, Thank you, Shuttle83 http://www.electron-age-technologies-llc.com
