Question about Dell Inspiron 1100 Notebook
My computer wont conect to internet
There are many reasons for this including hardware such as the cable/dsl modem, router, network cable, etc.. Software possibilities are the firewall (temporarily disable it), network configuration issues, ISP Server down, etc. If you open a command prompt (DOS window) do you get an IP Address using ipconfig? Something other than 169.x.x.x or 0.0.0.0? If so, can you ping an external address like 184.108.40.206?
Providing more information such as whether you're using wired or wireless or dial-up modem.

SOURCE: wont conect to internet
do you have an internal wireless adapter? Is the switch switched to on? Are you close enough to the wireless router. Do you have the right security code selected for connection to router? I would try resetting router and modem if the above is not the problem.
