Question about Whirlpool ED0GTQXMQ Side by Side Refrigerator
I noticed my freezer was leaking, so I thawed the whole freezer yesterday and clean up the system. Today, I noticed that my freezer and refrigerator did not cool the whole system. Everything is warming up. No cooling at al. But I listened to it and it seems wokring, just no cool air . What is the problem ? Lights are on , Power is on
1Plugged coils (lint and dirt) cutting off air flow will cause the problem you describe; Also
2 Fan that will not run underneath the box
3 Defective compressor
4 Compressor starting components, are the 1st items that come to mind with a description like yours.
But first check your controls inside and make sure they are set to mid range.
2 types of controls in refrigerators 1 for on off and 1 for air flow. If this control you mentioned has "off" on it this is the thermostat. Look for the other one and set it to mid range
If this has helped you please rate me as high as you can and thank you for using fixya..
