My touch screen stops working after a few hours of use. It begins a slow decent by first sticking on a key or a scroll bar and goes south from there until the entire screen stops working. The Navigator button still works as do the other buttons on there but the touch pad is completely dead.
The fix is to completely wipe out the memory on the device and resync but since this happens SO OFTEN it is a HUGE annoyance.

You may want to use the Task Switcher that you can start by going to Settings/System. When you click on Task Switcher, you will see all of the open programs. If you have a large number of open programs then you may see a degredation in performance. You may also have a single application that is causing problems. If a soft reset cures the problem, then it is not a hardware problem.
