*Install the LG PC Suite software onto your PC. Once it's installed close it down.
*Plug the USB lead provided with the phone into the phone and then into
your PC. Options will then be shown on your phone - PC Internet, Mass
Storage, PC Suite and Music Sync. Select 'Music Sync'.
*Windows may bring up a box on the PC saying 'Portable Device', just close it.
*Now open LG PC Suite on your PC and it will start the connection
wizard. Once that is done it brings up the LG PC Suite main screen. The
only icon highlighted should be 'LG Music' so select that.
*Once LG Music starts up you just add you music using the Add to... button.
You have to do it via your pc as the memory on the phone isn't big enough to receive a bluetooth file. There is NO way of changing the 'save to' to the mem card. So...plug it in to ya pc, click on 'computer' and you will see 'removable disc/mass storage'. They will be named f g or h. One is your phone memory one is your memory card. You can 'right click' files like songs/pics and select 'send to' etc into these files. Then click on f,gor h ( whichever one is your mem card) and you will see the files you placed there. Then just drag them to where they should be like for eg basshunter is a music file so drag it into sounds. If you don't do this, you wont find them in your phone options. Sounds difficult but once you get the hang of it, its not so bad. If you need any more help with it just holla.
Yes, you need an SD card to transfer your pictures. When you do, you sync your pictures from your phone onto the SD card. The next time you plug it in, your pictures should be in the MY_PICTURES folder. Hope this helps!
You have to move each song/file to your external memory straight away after recieving it via bluetooth because it goes straight onto your phone memory. Seach your phone memory and move all photos, videos, music etc to ext.memory by selecting the file-select options in lefthand corner- move to external memory. If your phone cannot find your external memory then you havent formatted your memory card. Go to Settings-Memory Status(way way down the bottom of list)-External Memory-Format(lefthand corner). Just remember to move each file to ext. mem. straight away. Its a pain but you have to do it manually, the phone doesnt do it for you.
It should already mine does, you may need to let the phone format the memory and then re-copy your music onto it. The memory card has to be formatted to FAT16 and most Windows PCs these days will format it to FAT32 unless you specify other
Instead of doing the sync music, try saving your music into your itunes account or on a flash drive. Than just plug your phone into the computer, click on settings, then tools, then USB mass storage. Open the file on your computer, than simply drag and drop your songs from the file on the computer or flash drive, into the phone's file folder. Drop it into your memory card on your phone or just in my music. (I personally recommend getting a micro SD card for the phone so you can hold more songs) good luck!
