I have a apex 40 "lcdtv model #ld4088 and the screen cracked inside and i turn it on the cracks can be seen will that be worth to fix

Unless someone is giving away a good lcd panel that is compatible with this model or selling it/auctioning it off for a reasonable price it will cost you 80% of the cost of a new television at the least to repair this. In a lot of cases the panel itself can cost thousands of dollars (I've seen them run as much as $10,000). The labor will add to the cost. The only entities I've seen repair broken panels are the network news stations because the cost is coming from the television station and not out of anyone's pocket.

I have a 52" Toshiba

in general cracked lcd panels cost more than the tv is worth.. depending on model panel replacment run 1500 to 2000.. and physical damage is not a warrenty item. do you have a toshiba or a rca the decription says you have rca r52wm24 which is not a lcd. that is a tube tv. and if it is cracked that definatly can be fix or replaced cost effective.

The screen is cracked and distorted can it be fixed the inside is not on the outside Mitsubishi 42 INCH FLAT SCREEN TV serial number LT46133

IF it is a LCD OR PLASMA AND SHOWS A CRACK INSIDE THAT IS can be seen---you are finished.

It means Panel is damaged internal--cost of part alone will be as much or more than set cost, not counting labor(major).

I do not like giving bad news. If you have questions or need advice comment on this solution

If this told you something you did not know rate this solution very helpful as I do this here for free.

What are the best settings for the Coby TF TV1913? I can't find any info online.

Are you asking about the "customer control" settings? If so, that's based on your preferance. I personally tell all my customer to set the brightness and picture to the lowest setting possable and still have a good picture. LCD screens may have a backlight level as well. The less you "drive" the tube or matter what kind it is....The longer the set will last you. The brightness is like a volume control on a stereo. If you have it all the way up, it makes things get hot and wears out the parts. So, in a sence...keep the volume down. This espesially true with the china imports like your coby. Once they go out, parts are unavailable to repair it. So take care of it, keep it CLEAN and keep the settings down. That's about all I can tell you. Good-luck. Also, let me know if you need more info. Just clarify what it is your looking for. The more info, the better I can help.

Coby tv model # tf-tv3005 ballast circuit module bad, where can I buy Parts

The best I can do is give you this link.
or*ballast*+*control*&N=1323038&Ntx=mode%2bmatchall&Ns=P_SField&OriginalKeyword=+ballast+control&Ntk=Mouser_Wildcards has some in stock, but I so not know your part number.
If it is not listed and you call them, they normally are good at locating a part.
