it's realy easy:
just press func. button, then press down 2 time, now you can find it:
10sec, 2sec and custom self timer.
(foe setting custom mode highlight it and then press menu.)

If shooting information is not displayed in the monitor, press the [info] button. Press the [i] button to place the cursor in the information display. Use left/right on the multiselector to highlight the current release mode in the information display (the fifth item from the top along the right edge) and press OK. Select the self-timer (the one-handed clock symbol) and press OK. Custom Settings #C3 controls the length of the the timer delay.
Don't forget to change it back when you're done.
If you use the self-timer a lot, you can program the Fn button on the front of the camera to set the self-timer.
the self timer usually works like this.
find the self timer setting and set it to 5 or 10 seconds.
then exit the menu and click the button that you normally press to take photo. the self timer will start automatically and the picture will be taken after 5 or 10 seconds (depending on what you set).
note that the self timer will be reset to off after this.
This function lets you take pictures using the self-timer. Fix the camera securely on a tripod for self-timer shooting. This function is useful for taking pictures when you want to be included in the photograph.
1 Select [ON], and press Z. 2 Press the shutter button fully to take the picture. • Pressing the shutter button halfway locks the focus and exposure. • The self-timer lamp lights for approximately 10 seconds, then starts blinking. After blinking for approximately 2 seconds, the picture is taken. • To stop shooting while in n mode, press the shutter button fully again. • To cancel the self-timer, press Z. • The self-timer mode is automatically canceled after one shot.
Note: • If sequential shooting is attempted in self-timer mode, the camera shoots 5 frames at most regardless of the setting.

Easy, in camera mode, push the menu/ok button, use the left and right arrows to display the self timer mode. There are only 3 options on the menu. (self timer,cont,option). Once self timer is on the screen, use the up arrow to pick a short or long self timer.
Once it is set, compose your picture and press the release button as normal, the self timer will do the rest
by the way in setting the timer for your camera here is what you are going to do...
-turn the camera on
-set the camera in recording
-press the Right Button beside the menu button (the incomplete circle)
-and then you will see that there will an icon showing in the left side part of the screen of the camera.
Selecting the self-timer 1. Rotate the MODE DIAL to select a RECORDING mode with the exception of VOICE RECORDING mode. 2. Press the SELF-TIMER button until the desired mode indicator displays on the LCD monitor. A 10 second, 2 second or double self-timer icon appears on the LCD monitor. In Movie Clip mode, only the 10-second self-timer will work.
•2SEC self-timer (icon of incomplete circle with 2S) : Pressing the shutter button will allow an interval of 2 seconds before the image is taken.
•10SEC self-timer (incomplete circle) : Pressing the shutter button will allow an interval of 10 seconds before the image is taken.
•Double self-timer (double incomplete circle) : A picture will be taken after about 10 seconds and 2 seconds later a second picture will be taken. When using the flash, the 2-second self-timer may be delayed for longer than 2 seconds depending on the flash charge time. 3. When you press the SHUTTER button, the picture will be taken after the specified time has elapsed.
When you turn on the Fun Flash! camera, the default resolution is 640 x 480, as indicated by the two stars displayed on the LCD panel.
To change the resolution to 320 x 240, you need to turn the camera off and then press and hold the self-timer button while turning the camera back on. Release the self-timer button and the camera will be in the lower resolution mode (indicated by the single star on the LCD).
Remember, the next time you turn on your Fun Flash! camera it will default back to the 640 x 480 setting.
