Phone was working fine and then all of a sudden the sim card slot stopped reading my sim card.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3: SIM card not working:

Hello. sometimes the SIM card slot gets loose over time.

If you notice that it is easy for the SIM card to slip in and out of the card holder.. or if not you can try this fix anyway to see if it helps:

You'll need some scissors and some clear tape like scotch tape..

cut off a very small piece of tape just enough to cover the top part of your SIM card..

it doesn't have to cover the whole top part..

It can not cover any connectors..

after affixing, slide the SIM card back into it's holder to see if that works..

If that doesn't help, you may have to visit your local Service Provider's store to get a new SIM card

My Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9000 doesn't read my SIM Card

Can't figure out exactly what the problem is. Try with the following methods.
1) The SIM card might be damaged. To check this, Try inserting the SIM card into any other active network free phone. If it doesn't work then sure the SIM card is damaged. If it works fine then the SIM card is in good condition.
2) The SIM port on your phone might be damaged. Try inserting any other active SIM card to it. If it doesn't work, then sure the SIM port is damaged. If it work fine, Then the SIM port is in good condition.
3) The phone might be network locked. If the phone doesn't allow any network SIM cards to work with it except any one specific SIM card, Then it is sure network locked. You can unlock a Samsung Galaxy S2 safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the unlock code for a Samsung Galaxy S2 from ProUnlocking.Com at affordable cost with easy unlocking guide. Good luck.

Sim card problem

if it cant read your sim card it must be something with your hardware. either get your simcard replaced or itll be the simcard slot in your phone.
check the slot with a different sim card and if it works then its your sim card that doesnt work.
if they both dont work try them both on a different phone and if they work there get your phone checked.

Sim card cant be read

The first step I would recommend is to re-seat your SIM card. To do this locate the SIM card slot, and remove the SIM. Make sure there is no dust or dirt making your phone not recognize the SIM.
After doing that reinsert the card and then try restart your phone. After a few seconds you the warning should disappear and your phone should be working normally again.
If this does not fix it my only other suggestion would be to contact Apple or your phone provider and discuss getting a new SIM card.

Good Luck!

My imate jamin wont read any sim card

Mate...same thing happen to me. I put in 3 different sim cards which all work on my other phone. So, try fiddling with the plated contact on the sim card holder (lack of other term for it). I just raised the contacts a bit, making sure there is good contact between the sim card and the leads. Works fine now. Good luck.

be careful not to raise the pin to high or the pins might snap.

Nokia e65 will not accept any sim card after i unlocked the phone

I would try the unlock again, it sounds like the unlock was unsuccessful otherwise it would have allowed you to use the other sim cards.

Try out different sim card to check phone's proper function. Because the message "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" is due to network problem or sim card problem.
Hope it works. Don't hesitate to contact me again if it doesn't solve the problem. Thanks
